Flowers Vase Emoji 💐+🏺

There are 9 emojis of flowers and one of a wilted flower, there is a bouquet of flowers. For vases, there is an amphora and an urn. There is no a flower vase emoji. A vase of flowers is an everyday presence in the real world, it is an element of hospitality and comfort, of welcome; it is iconic in the real world.

If a vase of flowers is representative of the object subject and the model for empathetic artificial intelligence, then we need an emoji that represents it since it is a universal and transtemporal icon of our time and it represents the artificial subject.

Unicorn 🦄

The unicorn is an imaginary animal, a character in fairy tales and stories. It is an animal that usually lives alone, is difficult to find and has magical powers. The unicorn has become a pop culture icon for children and teens, but it has other meanings, too. It can allude to a man or a woman that is a perfect match because it is so rare to meet someone with whom one has such a magical or special connection in intimate dating.

Not only this, but ‘unicorn’ is also a term to describe start-ups that have a value beyond one-billion dollars. This seems to be coined as a start-up associated term (according to Wikipedia) by Aileen Lee in 2013 due to the rarity and difficulty of building a start-up with this kind of success in such little time. The Unicorn is an icon of the collective imagination, which is transversal in its empathy.

Dolphin 🐬

The dolphin is an animal that radiates harmony, intelligence and natural happiness. It is also a popular animal and a symbol in the collective imagination. The dolphin emoji can help achieve a sexual relationship, unconsciously indicating one’s desire for sexual relations, not through its direct meaning, but through empathy; the representation or idea of the animal, formally due to its movements. The Dolphin emoji is a messenger of empathy.

On Flower Power

The exhibit titled On Flower Power is in no way related to the hippy counter-culture movement from the 60s and 70s that was called Flower Power. On Flower Power, The Role of the Vase in Arts, Crafts and Design puts forward the vase of flowers as a model or outline for the construction of the artificial subject in our digital age.

The vase of flowers consists of an object that often contains flowers. The specific emotional nature of flowers is the key element for a vase, which is a tool or object that has been artificially constructed, to gain empathy. Empathy, which is a characteristically human emotion, manages to transform a vase of flowers from an object to a subject.

A Vase of Flowers

The vase is an element of solid materiality that manages to contain ephemeral elements such as liquids, food or even flowers. In its configuration as a flower vase we find a sufficiently complete object; we have an artefact constructed by our culture, solid, material, artistic and fruit of man’s creative mind that stimulates our imaginations, tells us stories and conveys to us culture and thought.

The vase as an object is directly connected to a natural element, the flower, which comes from nature: seasonal, fragile, ephemeral, attractive, perfumed, a symbol of beauty and something very seductive, that stirs up emotions as well as stimulating the senses of sight, smell and even sometimes touch.

A Vase Without Flowers

The vase as an object can be understood as an abstract concept that is materialised according to the time, context and culture in distinct typologies through diverse materials upon which drawings or signs are applied. Its purpose can be very diverse. Being a container with contents or without contents, with a role that is functional, symbolic or mystical, the form of it is defined by the technology or technique with which it was made, with its material and with its possible graphic applications that tell stories or ideas.

This perceived form as an object is the result of culture, skill and imagination, sometimes the fiction of its era, and by default, its creator. The vase is an anthropological object upon which the history of our civilisation is written, the homo faber, through all of the arts, liberal arts, mechanics, fine arts, applied arts, crafts and design. And additionally because containers will survive to the end of humanity, their form being then, volcanoes, geysers or aquifer wells among others.

Vase of Flowers vs. Artificial Intelligence

This pairing is the perfect model for an artificially constructed object. Not only for being rational and emotional at the same time, but also for its ability to formally adapt to its era, achieving a timeless status. The concept ‘vase of flowers as an object’ is symbolic of the perfect artificial intelligence ideal, the one that is based on a solid, functional construction but that incorporates empathy. Empathy as an element consists of being able to create an emotional bond. The inclusion of emotion is the only possible way for an artificial intelligence to be equal to people.
